1. Have you read a book set in all 50 US states? I have not, but it is on my bucket list. Check out this list from Goodreads for some inspiration. I loved Where’d You Go, Bernadette by Maria Semple (set in Washington state) and The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah (set in Alaska) is on my TBR!
2. I am always intrigued when an author shares the behind the scenes of their work. Sarah Penner, author of The Lost Apothecary and The London Séance Society, has a whole page on her website dedicated to Writers. I loved reading the Day Job, Dream Job article.
3. Looking for a podcast by book lovers for book lovers? For years, I have been listening to What Should I Read Next? Give the latest episode a listen and let me know what books you add to your TBR!
4. I hear all the time that “books are so expensive.” They don’t have to be. Check out Book Riot’s Daily Deals, add it to your favorites and visit often for great deals!
5. I love a book with a strong sense of place. From the website: Strong Sense of Place is a website and podcast dedicated to literary travel and books we love. Reading good books increases empathy. Empathy is good for all of us and the amazing world we inhabit.
