1. I’m currently reading Dayswork by Chris Bachelder and Jennifer Habel. At some points in the book, I think it is above my reading level (ha!) but then I read a line that is so relatable and I find myself highlighting it. I’m excited to attend the author discussion with the Modern Mrs. Darcy book club in September!
2. I’ve been walking…a lot. In July, I walked 50 miles and I’ve already walked 38 in August. I love building consistent habits and challenging myself to do more as I feel comfortable (and not a moment sooner). One of my walks this week was 4 miles, which I haven’t done in quite a while. I just finished the Rome Challenge and now I’m on to London!
3. I recently finished Part of Your World by Abby Jimenez. It is the first in a three-book series and I already have the next two books on hold via Libby. If you love a book that asks the question “your world or mine?” this book is for you!
4. Saturday is Bookstore Romance Day! Go to your local bookstore to celebrate or attend an online session. Some of my favorite romance books are: The Seven Year Slip by Ashley Poston, Beach Read by Emily Henry, and Same Time Next Summer by Annabel Monaghan.
5. Books I’ve recently added to my TBR (to-be-read) pile: Sandwich by Catherine Newman, Olympus, Texas by Stacey Swann, and The Golden Gate by Amy Chua.
