Hello, friends and welcome to Friday! I’m squeezing in a post on Thursday night, so if things look rushed this week…they totally were!

1. This week I finished How to Read a Book by Monica Wood. 4 stars. Easy read, under 300 pages. One of my favorite quotes:
Books won’t solve my problems, Harriet.
No, but they give your problems perspective. They allow your problems to breathe.

2. I started Yellowface by RF Kuang. It’s been on my TBR for a long time!

3. You already know I use the Libby app, but I also use Hoopla via my local library! Multiple times I have found a book available on Hoopla when it’s not available on Libby.
From the website:
Borrow and enjoy audiobooks, eBooks, comics, movies, TV, magazines, or music everywhere you have a screen-your computer, your phone, your car, even your TV. All you need is a library card. hoopla syncs across all your devices, so you can stream titles immediately or whenever you’re in the mood. Most titles can also be downloaded to your phone or tablet. hoopla offers more content, in more places, than any other digital library platform and it’s all FREE thanks to your public library! Titles may vary based on library catalog.

4. Take a book, share a book. Find the closest Little Free Library to you. There are 175,000 Little Free Libraries in 121 countries and over 4 million books have been shared!

5. Ariel Lawhon is one of my favorite historical fiction authors who features strong, resilient female main characters! Great for fans of Kate Quinn and Kristin Hannah. Below are the books I’ve read:

That’s it for this week! This weekend I’m looking forward to a manicure, watching the recording of MMD’s Spring Book Preview, and of course lots of family time!
Happy reading!
