Tuesday TBR: Our Infinite Fates by Laura Steven

Welcome to the first post in the Tuesday TBR series!

Each Tuesday I’ll feature just one book that is on my TBR (To Be Read) list and explain where I heard about it and why I’m excited to read it.

This week it’s Our Infinite Fates by Laura Steven.

I heard about this book for the first time on Sunday evening when my cousin texted me:

I have a book recommendation since you loved The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue: Our Infinite Fates by Laura Steven…I really loved it. It’s one of my new favorites.

Regular readers know that Addie LaRue is one my favorite fictional characters of all time, so it’s an extremely high praise comparison! I immediately looked up the summary and placed a hold at my local library.

I love magical realism and time-bendy novels like The Seven Year Slip, The Hundred Loves of Juliet, and Life after Life. I knew this book was for me after reading this description:

They’ve loved each other in a thousand lifetimes. They’ve killed each other in every one.

Also, the summary suggests the main character’s little sister needs her to stay in this life because she needs a bone marrow transplant. I’m feeling Jodi Picoult’s My Sister’s Keeper vibes.

Let me know if you have read or plan to read Our Infinite Fates!
