It’s another Tuesday TBR, where I bring you just one book that I’ve added to my “to be read” list.
This week, I’m featuring Atmosphere by Taylor Jenkins Reid. Regular readers know that I’ve read almost everything by TJR!

From the publisher:
Atmosphere is an epic new novel set against the backdrop of the 1980s space shuttle program about the extraordinary lengths we go to live and love beyond our limits.
Joan Goodwin has been obsessed with the stars for as long as she can remember. Thoughtful and reserved, Joan is content with her life as a professor of physics and astronomy at Rice University and as aunt to her precocious niece, Frances. That is, until she comes across an advertisement seeking the first women scientists to join NASA’s space shuttle program. Suddenly, Joan burns to be one of the few people to go to space.
This book is set in Houston, Texas. Enough said! As a native Texan, I’m thrilled. I always learn something new when I read TJR’s books; they are always so well researched. I also like that she is creative with the format and structure of how she tells the story. The characters are unforgettable!
Mark your calendars! Atmosphere hits shelves on June 3, 2025 – another perfect summer read!
