Lattes for Literacy: Week 4 Update

I’m excited to share the latest on my Lattes for Literacy project! If you are new around here, a few weeks ago I decided to modify my daily coffee order to set aside real dollars for local literacy programs and libraries in the East Bay.

Pictured below: My family recently visited The Exploratorium in San Francisco, so of course we stopped by Philz Coffee and walked by the Ferry Building.

At the end of Week 3, I had saved a total of $26.95 and so I decided to become a Friend of the Library!

Going into Week 4, I had $6.95 leftover and I was able to save $11.95 during the week, making my new balance $18.90. This isn’t quite enough to make a meaningful donation yet, so I’m just doing some additional research this week instead.

I would love to hear how you are supporting your local libraries and literacy programs!
