Happy Monday, I’m so excited to share a Lattes for Literacy donation update today!
Over the past few weeks I have been researching Project Second Chance, Contra Costa Library’s Adult Literacy Program.
This week I made a $50 donation to Project Second Chance and my employer matched 50% ($25) for a total donation of $75! It’s a good reminder that every dollar counts.
If you are looking to get involved with your local library or make a meaningful donation to support literacy in your area, you can usually visit a local branch or library system’s website to learn about the foundations and “Friends of the Library” programs, as well as literacy programs like Project Second Chance.
Don’t forget to also check with your employer to see if there is an employee giving program where donations can be matched.
