It’s Day 19 of my 30 Days of Writing Project and today I’m sharing two books I picked up at the Friends of the Danville Library Book Sale recently!
Olive Kitteridge by Elizabeth Strout: This book won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction in 2009! It’s a collection of 13 short stories set in Maine and told from the perspective of a retired schoolteacher. There’s also an HBO miniseries from 2014 I will definitely be adding to my TBW (to be watched) list.
The Ministry of Time by Kaliane Bradley: Published in 2025, this is the author’s debut novel and one of Barack Obama’s Favorite Books of the Summer. It’s described as a time travel romance, spy thriller, and a workplace comedy. Three of my favorite genres!
